Accommodation: The hotels/guest houses are mostly of normal Amazon Birding standard.
Bird Photography: Opportunities are worthwhile.
Altitude: We will reach elevations in excess of 4000 mts on our drive to Cusco. Oxygen limitation can be present. Let us know if you have more questions.
Climate: Rather variable. At high altitudes conditions range from cool to decidedly cold in the early morning. At middle elevations many days are dry and sunny, though on other days it can be cool and overcast.
Luggage: Please be aware that many airlines have recently modified their luggage policies and are charging additional fees for checked bags. Whether these are covered by the tour fee or not, will be the client’s responsibility.
