Arrival In Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport

Upon arrival, takes forty-five minutes transfer to hotel in Mason.​

DAY 2, 3 AND 4

Birding The Cincinnati Area

Three full days to bird and photograph at the local parks and preserve with excellent habitats. Key species to look for are Red-shouldered Hawk and Red-tailed Hawk, Song Sparrow, Field Sparrow, Northern Cardinal, Carolina Chickadee, Eastern Bluebird, Northern Flicker, Eastern Meadowlark, the moffitti/maxima form of Canada Goose, Horned Larks and Killdeer. Also, Tree Swallow, Downy Woodpecker, Red-bellied Woodpecker, Pileated Woodpecker, Northern Flicker and Common Yellowthroat, Myrtle Warbler, Yellow Warbler, Prothonotary Warbler, Belted Kingfisher, Carolina Wren, American Robin and American Goldfinch. We will look for Blackburnian Warbler, Blue-winged Warbler, Yellow Warbler and Worm-eaten Warbler. Also, Palm Warbler, Cerulean Warbler, Black-throated Green Warbler, and Wild Turkey, White-breasted Nuthatch and Baltimore Oriole, Great Blue Heron, Blue Jay, Scarlet Tanager, Wood-thrush and Barred Owl. Northern Ohio And Lake Erie Shore

Today driving is about three hours north, early departure toward Port Clinton in northern Ohio. The shores at Lake Erie and marshes are well known for fall migratory song birds on their way to northern lands. Targets are Magnolia Warbler, Chestnut-sided Warbler, Black and White Warbler and Black-throated Blue-Warbler. Also, Red-headed Woodpecker and Bald Eagle, Eastern Screech Owl, Trumpeter Swam, Marsh Wren, Sandhill Crane. More of American Woodcock and Red-winged Blackbird and Green Heron, Ring-billed Gull and Caspian Tern. Possibility for shorebirds. Overnight at Hotel Best Western in Port Clinton. (300 mt elev.) Leaving Port Clinton To Hotel In Cleveland

We have the morning to bird and photograph for missing birds, then one hour and half driving take us to the hotel in Cleveland. Overnight at hotel Hampton North Olmsted Inn in Cleveland. With only ten minutes to Airport (300 mt elev.) B-PL-D END OF THE TOURS

About Your Guide

Richard Amable is a senior tour guide born in Peru, He follows the career in ecotourism, birding, and natural history of the Neotropics and North America also has been involved in nature and birding since a young age doing many volunteering works in projects of wildlife research and educational programs. He is an expert on parrots. He has the knowledge and understanding of the nature, and culture of many geographic regions in South America, Central America, and North America such as Perú, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Panama, and United States. In 2004. He founded the Jacamar Club – Perú, a birding group from Madre de Dios department in Perú. In 2014 Richard become a menber of the board of trusty for the Audubon Society of Ohio. He has stated, “My commitment is to learn from all natural regions and get to see all of the animals is possible. With that knowledge, I will teach and share my passion with others to help strategists for conservation.
