Our three different sites tour take us to the large Miami White Water Forest Park, the hidden spot for birders called “Lost Bridge” and the ancestral Forest of Shawnee Look Out, This tour cover great extension of preserved lands and combine habitats of swamp, grasslands, river, lake, pond, and open and mature forest. We will drive you so then you can concentrate in the birds

What Is Expected Of You

None of the walks are strenuous, but you should be able to walk up to 3 miles along trails, in flat and open country, prepare for some walks in hilly terrain is possible. Bring your own binoculars, camera, rain coat, sunblock and mosquito repellent. We will do the rest! We will provide more background on what to bring and what to expect on this trip when you book. Our targets will depend on the season and we will look for Wood Duck, Least Bittern, Willow Flycatcher, Marsh Wren, Golden Eagle, Clicff Swallow, Least Sandpiper, Caspian Tern, Northern Waterthrush, Yellow Warbler, American Redstart, Protonorary Warbler, White-eyed Vireo, Pileated Woodpecker, Eastern Bluebird, Brown Thrasher, Eastern Phoebe, Least Grebe, Blue Jay, and more. key species to ensure you get the most from your time in the field. They are a great ways of exploring the surrounding and will probably take you to areas you might not venture to on your own. An exciting work rewiew on the checklist is also included.

About Your Guide

Richard Amable is a senior tour guide born in Peru, He follows the career in ecotourism, birding, and natural history of the Neotropics and North America also has been involved in nature and birding since a young age doing many volunteering works in projects of wildlife research and educational programs. He is an expert on parrots. He has the knowledge and understanding of the nature, and culture of many geographic regions in South America, Central America, and North America such as Perú, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Panama, and United States. In 2004. He founded the Jacamar Club – Perú, a birding group from Madre de Dios department in Perú. In 2014 Richard become a menber of the board of trusty for the Audubon Society of Ohio. He has stated, “My commitment is to learn from all natural regions and get to see all of the animals is possible. With that knowledge, I will teach and share my passion with others to help strategists for conservation.
